Medical Technology International Program Offers Eye-Opening Study Abroad Opportunities
In line with the university's vision of " Allied Health Sciences Aiming Towards Excellence and International Program," the School of Allied Health Sciences is paving the way for students to excel on a global scale. This is achieved through the development of curricula that align with international standards, emphasizing language proficiency, and cultivating professional skills.
To meet the demands of students who aspire to enhance their English language skills alongside their medical knowledge and professional competencies, the School of Allied Health Sciences introduced its groundbreaking Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology (MT) International program in the 2021 academic year.
This program focuses on nurturing students' language proficiency as a foundation, both in the classroom and through various instructional materials. It ensures that students are well-equipped to apply these language skills to their daily lives. The faculty members provide instruction, and supplemental learning materials are used to facilitate students' familiarity with the English language.
Furthermore, the commitment to advancing teaching, research, and academic services, along with establishing international collaborations with foreign organizations and institutions, remains paramount. This dedication has allowed the School of Allied Health Sciences to excel on the global stage, offering programs such as the "Medical Technology Expo and Academic Collaboration in Medical Technology for the 3rd year MT international students" in Taiwan. In this program, the fourth-year medical technology students have also been selected to serve as student representatives, receiving scholarships from the School of Allied Health Sciences in collaboration with the Center for International Affairs.
